About the Role:

The Senior Business Development - Textiles Industrial Promotion will play a critical role in driving the growth of the Indian textile industry, both domestically and internationally. You will be responsible for attracting new investments, fostering partnerships, and developing initiatives that enhance the competitiveness of the sector across India and overseas markets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies for the textile industry in India and overseas markets.

• Identify and target potential domestic and international investors in the textile sector.

• Lead the development of proposals and presentations to attract investments from both Indian and overseas companies.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the textile industry across India and overseas, including industry associations, government bodies, and potential investors.

• Facilitate collaboration and partnerships between domestic and international textile companies to expand market reach and capabilities.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the Indian textile industry and potential overseas markets.

• Develop and implement initiatives to improve the ease of doing business for textile companies in India and to promote Indian textiles internationally.

• Track and measure the progress of business development activities and report findings to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), International Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development, preferably within the textile industry with a strong understanding of both domestic and international markets.

• Proven track record of successfully attracting investments and developing strategic partnerships across borders.

• Excellent understanding of the Indian textile industry, including its value chain, key players, challenges, and export potential.

• Strong knowledge of international textile markets and trade dynamics.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel extensively within India and internationally.

Remuneration Package:

The Economic Transformation Council offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package will include a base salary, performance-based bonus, and benefits package.
